Disclosure/Feedback model of awareness
- Created by Joseph Luft and Harry Ingham in 1955 , United States.
- A list of 55 adjectives and you and your friends each will pick five or six of the list.
- These adjectives are then mapped onto a grid. A four paned "window," divides personal awareness into four different types, as represented by its four quadrants:
1. "open" things that both I know about myself & you know about me.
2. "blind" things that you know about me, but that I am unaware of.
3. "hidden" things that I know about myself, that you do not know.
4. "unknown" things that neither I know about myself, nor you know about me.
